Nurtureways Groups and Classes are an amazing way to connect with others in your local community around your shared experience. 

 

Current Groups/Classes:

Listening Mothers (Parents and babies birth to pre-crawling)

NEXT GROUP: 8 Wednesdays 10am-noon, begins March 1st

Join a community of like-minded parents in discovering the joys of parenting. This science-based program uses mindfulness skills to explore infant emotional development, parental self-compassion and secure attachment. Discover your inner wisdom and confidence with the support of a mindfully trained facilitator.

Meets at Northwest Hospital, 1550 N. 115th St, Seattle, WA 98133

Cultivating Connections, Parent/Infant Class (0-12 mo by Sept 1st)

Ongoing Enrollment for Fall 2016, Fridays 11:30-1:15pm (Bothell)

Connect with parents in your community to share adventures in nurturing with your increasingly mobile little one. Explore infant emotion and regulation, building secure attachment, and practice meaningful parental self-care. Discover how to tap into your unique parenting strengths to support baby's development and relationships.

Well Life Parenting: Parenting a child with a chronic condition

This therapeutic support group explores the emotional journey of parenting a child with a chronic condition. Together we'll discuss approaches for taking care of family while also nurturing ourselves. We'll share mindfulness and self-compassion tools for coping with diagnosis, uncertainties and the stress of daily medical management, while also looking at ways to cultivate joy and support you and your family living life to the fullest. 


Whole Heart Parenting: Parenting in the face of low mood, worry or stress

This therapeutic support group  is for parents of children at any age. Together we'll explore how you can parent your children in the ways that matter most to you while practicing self-care in the face of anxious  or low mood or overwhelming life stressors. Each week we'll discuss approaches to parenting with your whole heart including mindfulness, self-compassion, and values-focused actions
